Almond Mocha Ice Cream | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

ALMOND MOCHA ICE CREAM

Ingredients

½ cup roasted and chopped almonds
3 tablespoons coffee powder
¼ cup cocoa powder
1½ cups fresh cream
1 cup milk powder
1 cup milk
¾ cup powdered sugar

Method

1. Heat cream in a deep non-stick pan till just warm. Add milk powder and mix till well combined.
2. Switch off heat, add milk and whisk till a smooth mixture is formed. Set aside.
3. Grind together ¼ cup almonds, cocoa powder, coffee powder and powdered sugar to a coarse powder.
4. Add the prepared cream mixture and grind well.
5. Transfer some of the remaining almonds into airtight containers. Pour the prepared mixture in them and sprinkle remaining almonds on top. Cover and freeze for 8-10 hours.
6. Serve.
