If you're looking for something different than the regular pakodas, here's one prepared with chicken mince and boiled potatoes. Give this a try!

ALOO CHICKEN PAKODA

Ingredients

2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
300 grams chicken mince (keema)
1 medium onion, chopped
8-10 curry leaves, shredded
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
½ tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
½ tsp red chilli flakes
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
Salt to taste
¾ cup dried breadcrumbs
Oil for deep frying
Green chutney to serve

Method

1. Take chicken mince in a large bowl, add onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves, fennel seeds, red chilli flakes, crushed black peppercorns, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt and breadcrumbs and mix well.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Gently drop small portions of the chicken mixture and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
3. Serve hot with green chutney.
