Watch this video to find out how to make Aloo Gobhi Tamatar ALOO GOBHI TAMATARIngredients2 medium potatoes, peeled½ small cauliflower, cut into medium sized florets2 tablespoons oil1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 teaspoon asafoetida1 medium onion, choppedSalt to taste1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste1 medium tomato, chopped1 teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)Few fresh coriander sprigs for garnishingMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Cut potatoes into big cubes.2. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida to the pan and mix. Add onion and mix again. Add salt and sauté till onion turns golden.3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for two minutes, add tomatoes and mix. Cover and cook till tomatoes are pulpy.4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add potatoes and cauliflower florets and mix. Crush and add dried fenugreek leaves, around one cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for about ten to fifteen minutes or till both potatoes and cauliflower are completely cooked.5.
