Vrat Ka Cheela is an Indian and spiced version of the potato pancakes recipe. This Cheela recipe is typically served for breakfast during Fasting which provides the necessary nutrients for the day, but this dish can also be served as an evening snack for kids.


Aloo ka chilla

Ingredients Quantity
Rajgira flour 1 cup
Boiled potato 1 no.
Chopped green chilies 3-4 no.
Chopped ginger 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Sendha salt to taste
Water as required
Oil for greasing

Method:-
1. In a bowl add rajgira flour, boiled potato, green chilies, chopped ginger, cumin seeds and sendha salt to taste, add water and make a thick batter of it.
2. Now in a non stick pan, grease oil and pour the batter, make the pancakes small in size.
3. Cover it and let it cook for some time.
4. Once it is cooked from down, flip it and cook from other side as well.
5. Our pancakes are ready, remove it in a plate and serve hot.
