ALOO KA RASSAWALA SHAAKIngredients4 medium potatoes (aloo), boiled, peeled and cut into ½ inch pieces1 cup yogurt1 tablespoon gram flour (besan)Salt to taste¼ teaspoon turmeric powder2 tablespoons ghee½ teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)A pinch of asafoetida (hing)7-8 curry leaves½ inch ginger, chopped1-2 green chillies, finely chopped¼ teaspoon red chilli powder½ teaspoon garam masala powder + for sprinklingMethod1. Take yogurt in a bowl. Add gram flour, salt, turmeric powder and ¾ cup water and whisk well.2. Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let it cook till its light golden brown and fragrant. 3. Add asafoetida, curry leaves and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds. Add green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. 4. Add chilli powder and yogurt mixture, mix and bring the mixture to boil. Add potato pieces, lightly mix, reduce heat and cook for 4-5 minutes.5. Add garam masala powder and mix well.6.
