Aloo Keema Recipe
Oil 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Black peppercorn 4-5
Cloves 4-5
Green Cardamom 3
Onion 1 1/2 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Mutton mince (chopped by hand) 1kg
Tomato Puree 2 cups
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1/2 tbsp
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Potatoes (cubes) 2 cups
Coriander (crushed) 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/2
Coriander (chopped) for garnish
Ginger (juilenne) for garnish
Directions:
• In a pot heat ooil, add cumin, black peppercorn, cloves, and green cardamom. Sizzle for a minute.
• Add onion and cook until translucent. Add water and cook again for 2-3 minutes until soft.
• Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add mince cook until changes color.
• Add tomato puree, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric and cook on medium low flame until oil separates.
• Add water, mix, cover with lid and cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame.
• Take the cover off, add yougurt and cook again for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
• Add potatoes and mix. Add water and, crushed coriander. Mix well and cover with lid. Steam for 3-5 minutes.
• Take the lid off, mix. Add garam masala and give a good mix. Alo keema is ready.
• Dish it out and garnish with coriander and ginger. Serve
