ALOO KI TIKKI

Ingredients

4 medium potatoes (aloo), boiled and peeled
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 teaspoons roasted and crushed pomegranate seeds
2 green chillies, finely chopped
Salt to taste
2 tablespoonscornstarch
Oil for deep-frying

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Grate potatoes in a bowl. Add chopped coriander, pomegranate seeds, green chilli and salt and mix well.Add cornstarch and mix well.
3. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Take the portion and shape it into tikkis.
4. Deep-fry the tikkisinto the hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes
Cooking Time:15-20minutes
