Aloo Pulav in Pressure Cooker / Aloo Pulav

Aloo Pulav/ Flavored Rice with Potatoes and Green Peas is an instant recipe for a Lunch box or any meal when running out of time.
Simple recipe yet tasty and a quick one.

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice: 2 Cups
Potatoes: 2 medium-sized cut into 2 inches pieces
Green Peas: 1/2 Cup
Ghee: 1 Tablespoon
Oil: 1 Tablespoon
Tomatoes: 2 Chopped
Bay Leaves: 2 No's
Cinnamon: 2 small pieces
Cloves: 5 to 6 No's
Cardamom: 3 No's
Carraway Seeds: 1 Teaspoon
Onion: 1 Diced
Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 Teaspoon
Green Chilies: 3 to 4No's Slit
Mint Leaves: 1/4 Cup
Coriander Leaves: 1/4 Cup
Salt: 1 Teaspoon or as needed
Water: 3 1/2 Cup

Method of Preparation:

Take 2 cups of Basmati Rice wash and soak it 1/2 an hour prior to cooking the Pulav.
Take 2 Medium-sized Potatoes cut them into 2 inches pieces.
Put them in a bowl of water and keep them aside for a while.
Heat a Pressure cooker with 1 Tbs f Ghee and a Tbs of Oil.
Add 2 Bay Leaves, 2 small pieces of Cinnamon, 5 to 6 Cloves.
Add 3 Cardamoms, and a Tsp of Carraway Seeds fry them all for a Min.
Add 1 diced onion fry until transparent, add 1 Tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste for a Min.
Add Potatoes, place a lid and let fry for 2 to 3 min on medium flame.
Add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook until soft
Add 1/2 a Cup of Green Peas and 3 to 4 Green Chilies mix well and let fry for a while.
Add 1/4 cup of Mint and Coriander Leaves each.
Now, add soaked rice and add 3 1/2 Cups of Water, add 1 Tsp of Salt or as needed.
Adjust the taste accordingly, place the lid.
Pressure cook it for 2 whistles, put off the flame.
Let it cool down and release the pressure, open the lid.
We can see tasty aromatic Potato and Green Peas Pulav.
