Ingredients
1/2 kg Potatoes
4 Capsicum (green)
1 cup Tomato (chopped)
1 cup Onion (chopped)
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp Green chilies
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Red chili powder
Salt to taste
Green coriander (for garnish)
Directions for Aloo Shimla Mirch:
Peel off the tomatoes and cut into medium cubes and keep aside.
Now cut the capsicum into cubes and keep it aside.
In a pan heat oil, add onion and cook until translucent.
Then add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Then add turmeric, green chilies, potatoes, salt and cook for 5 minutes.
Add water and cover it for 7 to 8 minutes on medium low flame or until half done.
Then add red chili powder, capsicum, coriander powder and cook for 5 minutes on high flame.
Then add tomatoes and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame.
Garnish with coriander and serve.
your Aloo Shimla Mirch now ready to serve.
