Tiong Bahru Food Centre has a lot of heritage hawkers, many of whom who have had stalls since the 1950s. They also have a few vendors who are Michelin Guide recommended/ achieved Michelin Bib Gourmand status. It's a great place to sample a range of different cuisines from Singaporean to Malay to Chinese to Indian Muslim.We sample:- Lor Mee from Lor Mee 178 - Chwee Kueh from Jian Bo Chwee Kueh - Hokkien fried mee from Hong Heng Fried Hokkien Mee - Carrot cake from Kampong Carrot Cake - Hainanese Chicken Rice from Hainanese Chicken Rice- peanut ice kacang from Liang Liang GardenTiong Bahru Food Centre is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner although note that each stall may have different hours and days of operation.Tiong Bahru Food Centre is really worth a visit. Lots of locals dine at the food centre, the variety in dishes is amazing and it is so affordable.
