Subscribe for more food and travel videos: https://goo.gl/9rfeRSWhen in Melaka there are a number of things you have to tick off your MELAKA EATS list. Today we embark on a food hunting adventure and visit a few spots not far from Melaka town to find some Melaka famous food. Get ready for a huge Malaysia street food tour!Restoran Ming HuatThis kopitiam houses a number of stalls and is a local favourite. One of our subscribers recommends it to us and suggests it’s a living embodiment of the concept of muhibbah, where people of different cultures, races and religions live and work side by side harmoniously, respectful of each other’s backgrounds. There is a Malay nasi lemak stall, an Indian Muslim stall and a Chinese stall in this kopitiam and it’s customers are from all different backgrounds. It really is the perfect example of muhibbah. We eat nasi lemak with a side of chicken rendang and sample mee kahwin a mash up of mamak rohak and mee rebus.Aunty Koh CendolAunty Koh’s cendol is some of the most famous in Melaka. Her stall is only open on Saturday and Sundays from 11:30am onwards. We arrive at 11:30am and by 12:00pm Aunty Koh has sold out!! What makes her cendol so special? The coconut milk. Aunty Koh grates and presses around 30 coconuts from around 1:00am the night before she opens. Fresh is an understatement! Klebang Original Coconut ShakeAnother must eat/drink in Melaka is the Klebang coconut shake. This iced concoction is made up of ice, coconut milk, coconut water and coconut flesh and is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Delicious!Kuih Keria AntarabangsaOur final stop is Kuih Keria Antarabangsa. These sweet potato doughnuts are a crowd favourite and when they open at 1:00pm we guarantee there’ll already be a line of about 20 deep! Cooked sweet potato is mashed up with flour, deep fried and then covered in a gula melaka syrup. Mouth watering!Check our Melaka food playlist for more videos: https://goo.gl/YYCga1Details of where we ate:Restoran Ming HuatJalan Ujong Pasir, Melaka, 75050 Malacca, MalaysiaOpen Saturday to Thursday 7:30am to 11:00pm (the stalls we ate at operate for breakfast/lunch)Closed FridayPork FreeAunty Koh CendolKampung Bukit Rambai, 75260 Malacca, MalaysiaOpen Saturday and Sunday 11:30am to 1:00pmGet there early!
