Ambur Chicken Masala Biryani
INGREDIENTS:
Whole garam masala - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 no
Salt - As Per Taste
Mint leaves - 1 bunch
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Tomato - 1 no.
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Chicken - 500 gms
Oil - As Required
Basmati Rice (soaked) - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 tsp
Lemon - 1 no.
Wheat flour - 1 cup
DIRECTIONS:
Heat some oil in a pan, add whole garam masalas, onion, salt. Saute it till it turns brown in colour.
In this add mint leaves, coriander leaves, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder some turmeric powder and cook them until all the raw flavour are gone.
Now add the chicken pieces, curd, water,and mix it well, check the salt cook it till it turns transparent in colour.
Afterwards heat water in a pan, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, oil, and soaked basmati rice. Cook it until the rice is 80% cooked.
Now add that rice into the chicken curry, ghee, lemon juice and seal it with dough on sides and put it on dum on a slow flame.
Now ready to serve Ambur chicken Biryani with raita.
