Apple Crisp | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Thin slices of apple lined on a puff pastry, rolled and baked.

APPLE CRISP

Ingredients

1 medium red apple
Puff pastry dough as required
Refined flour for dusting
Melted butter for brushing
¼ cup brown sugar
Cinnamon powder for sprinkling

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
2. Halve and deseed the apple.
3. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough and roll out into ½ cm thick rectangle sheet. Cut into thick strips.
4. Brush each strip with some butter. Sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon powder on top.
5. Horizontally and thinly slice the halved apple.
6. Place apple slices on one side of each strip, fold and roll them. Place them into individual silicon muffin moulds.
7. Place the prepared moulds on a baking tray. Put the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
8. Serve hot.
