Asian Pepper Steak

As a kid, one of my favorite memories is when my dad would make steak sandwiches. He would take beautifully marbled strips of meat, saut them with onions in a pan and then add some hot sauce to the end. Served with ketchup on a fresh sub roll, these were great.

Now as someone who has been known to putter around the kitchen, Ive realized that that basic pan cooked steak could be a whole lot more. Add some peppers and youve got the beginnings of pepper steak. Then you can add different spices and/or sauces and take that base of pepper steak sauted with onions and peppers, and launch it in a few different directions. In other words . . . you could prepare pepper steak every night of the week and create a different dish each time.

This video will show you a few ideas along a complete recipe for an Asian inspired version. As always, I'm using some great 100% pastured and grass fed meat from my friends at KOL Foods. (http://www.KOLFoods.com)

So watch, get creative, mix and match ingredients, and make it your own. You got this.
