Bafra Pidesi Pide Recipe from the Black Sea Region

Auntie Saniye is sharing a delicious pide recipe with us today. We hope you enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:
1 litre of sifted all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of yoghurt
1 dessertspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of instant dry yeast
1 tablespoon of melted butter
As much lukewarm water as needed
For the filling:
3 finely chopped onions
Some salt
Half a dessertspoon of black pepper
Half a kg of minced beef
1 tablespoon of butter
Optionally, especially if you like chillies, a palmful of finely chopped chilli peppers
1 egg to brush the sides
