Bread tolls stuffed with matar paneer mixture and baked to make this delicious snack.BAKED MATAR PANEER BREAD ROLLSIngredients½ cup green peas (matar), blanched1 cup grated cottage cheese (paneer)4 brown bread slicesOil for greasing Salt to taste½ teaspoon castor sugarCrushed black peppercorns to taste½ teaspoon carom seeds1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves1 tablespoon grated cheddar cheese½ tablespoon fresh creamMethod1. Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with some oil. 2. Combine cottage cheese and green peas in a bowl and mix well and mash. Add salt, castor sugar, crushed peppercorns, carom seeds, green chillies, chopped coriander and cheese and mix well. Add cream and mix well. 3. Soak bread slices in milk, squeeze the excess and flatten them with a rolling pin. Spread a portion of the prepared cottage cheese mixture on it and roll tightly.4. Place them on the greased baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.5. Remove from heat, cut into halves diagonally and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
