BANANA CHOCOLATE BREAD

In this episode, I'd like to share my
Banana Chocolate Bread recipe with you. It is very easy to
prepare, yet extremely delicious.
An energetic duet of banana and chocolate :)

INGREDIENTS:

3 ripe bananas
cup brown sugar
cup butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs (at room temperature)
cup milk (at room temperature)
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
12 inches (30x11 cm) springform loaf pan

DIRECTIONS:

Slice the bananas and mash.
Pour the butter, sugar, cinnamon and bananas in a sauce pan and
cook for 10 minutes on medium high heat, stir occasionally.
Turn off the heat, transfer it to a bowl and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, preheat owen to 350 F (180 C),
grease the pan then sprinkle a little flour, tap and remove excess.
Sift the salt, baking powder, flour in a bowl and whisk.
Beat the eggs, vanilla extract, milk.
Add the banana mixture and beat again.
Add the chocolate chips into the dry ingredients and whisk.
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and
stir gently with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Tap the pan once or twice to get rid of air bubbles.
Finally, (totally optional) wet your hands with water,
moisture the top of the cake mixture.
It prevents your cake drying too much.
Bake it for 50-55 minutes.
Let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing and
cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
