One of the basic Indian vegetarian dishes Gobhi Matar (Spiced cauliflower with peas) is simple to make. It's easy and quick side dish with roti, parantha, naan or rice. Ingredients:2 heads of Cauliflower1/2 cup peas1 small onion2 tbsp oil for cooking1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste1/2 tsp cumin seeds2 tbsp lemon juiceSalt per taste1/2 tsp turmeric1 Green chilliCilantro for garnish1/2 tsp garam masalaMethod:1. Chop Cauliflower head into bite size pieces. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.3. Add Green chilli, onions and ginger garlic paste.4. Mix well and add spices. Saute for 2 mins.5. Add peas. Mix well. Add Cauliflower and stir well. 6. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook for 7-8 mins. 7. Once gobhi is tender, add garam masala and lemon juice.
