Heat oil in a non-stick pan. 2. Slit and chop green chillies. Slice potatoes.3. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and chopped green chillies and sauté for 30 seconds. 4. Add sliced potatoes, turmeric powder and salt and toss to mix. Add some water, cover and cook till potatoes are done.5.
