Beef Pasanday Masala

Ingredients for Pasanday Marination:
Beef Pasanday 800 g
Papaya paste 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Red chili flakes 2 tbsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp

Ingredients for roasted masala:
Almonds 9-10
Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
Poppy seeds 1 tbsp.
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Black peppercorns 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Beef Pasanday Masala:
Oil 1/2 cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Fried onion 1/2 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Roasted masala 2-3 tbsp
Lemon slices 2-3 (for garnishing)
Onion rings (for garnishing)
Green coriander (chopped) for garnishing

Directions for Pasanday Marination:
1. In a a bowl add pasanday pieces, papaya paste, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, red chili flakes, yogurt, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix well. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
Directions for Roasted masala preparation:
2. On a preheated pan add almonds, desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns and roast for 2 minutes.
3. Transfer them to a grinder and grind into fine powder. Your masala is ready.
Directions for Beef Pasanday Masala Preparation:
4. On a pan heat oil and add garlic, cook for a minute.
5. Add marinated pasanday and cook each side for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add water and cover and cook for 5-10 minutes.
7. Now add masala and cook for 2-3 minutes.
8. Garnish it with lemon slices, onion rings, coriander and Your Beef Pasanday Masala is ready.
