Begun Bhaja/Brinjal Fry | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Let me show you a way to prepare Brinjal fry at home that will be enjoyed by all your loved ones.

Ingredients:
2 Brinjals sliced
1 tbsp Rice flour
1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Lime juice
3 tbsp Mustard oil

Method: Slice Brinjals into thick round discs, immerse in water and keep aside.
Prepare Masala paste by mixing together Rice flour, Red Chilli powder, Garam masala, Turmeric, Coriander powder, Salt and Lime juice. Combine well and then add water little by little to make a thick paste. Coat all the Brinjal pieces with this masala paste.
In a pan heat Mustard Oil and shallow fry all the Brinjal pieces on low flame, Flip on either side and cook till done. Brinjal fry is ready to serve.
