Try this delicious Berry Pulao at your home and share your experience with us.Ingredients1. *Chicken*4 tbsp ghee1/2 cup Onion slicesSalt to tasteHalf a chicken1.5 cups water2 tbsp advieh spice mix2 *Rice and Tahdig*2 cups long grain rice1 tbsp salt6 cups Water1 tbsp ghee2 potatoes sliced thick3 *Advieh spice mix*(1 inch stick cinnamon1.5 tbsp chopped nutmeg8 nos Iranian rose buds5 nos green cardamom1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 heavy pinch saffron1 tbsp coriander seeds2 tbsp sugar)4. *Tomato gravy*In the residual pan juices add;1 cup tomato puree1 cup water1 tsp sugar1 tbsp advieh spice mixSalt to taste5. *Chicken Kofteh*1 cup chicken minceSalt to taste1 yolk of an egg1 tbsp advieh spice mix1 whites of an eggOil to deep fry6. *Sweet saffron water*1/2 tsp Iranian saffron1/2 cup water2 tbsp sugar7. *Garnish Mix*1/2 cup zeresh berries, barberries or chopped cranberries as the best substitute1/4 cup blanched & peeled pistachio3 tbsp ghee1 tbsp rose water1 tbsp sweet saffron waterHandful fried onionsMethodIn a pan heat 4 tbsp ghee, add 1/2 cup onion slices, half a chicken, salt to taste, 1.5 cups water, cover it with the lid and allow it to cook.Par boil 2 cups long grain rice.In a vessel add 1 tbsp ghee, make a layer of 2 thick sliced potatoes, par boiled rice, cover it with the lid and allow it to cook for half an hour.Advieh spice mix In an electric grinder add 1 inch stick cinnamon, 1.5 tbsp chopped nutmeg, 8 pieces Iranian rose buds, 5 pieces of green cardamom, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 heavy pinch saffron, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 2 tbsp sugar and grind it into a fine powder.Add 2 tbsp advieh spice mix to the chicken and mix it nicely and remove the chicken from the pan.
