Ingredients:
Cooking rice :
Rice - 2 cups washed & rinsed
Water - 6 cups
Salt - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp

Caramelising /frying onions :
Oil - 4 tbsp
Onions - 3 sliced
(you can also fry onions till golden brown)

Roasting paneer:
Paneer - 1/2 kilo
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

Roasting Potatoes :
Potatoes - 2 sliced
Oil - 3 tbsp
Chaat masala - 1 tbsp
(You can use potato chips instead)

Veg Malai Gravy :
Oil - 4 tbsp
Ginger - 1 inch chopped
Garlic - 6 cloves chopped
Green chillies - 5 chopped
Cardamom - 5 crushed
Bay leaf - 2
Dry red chilli - 2
Red chilli powder - 3 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Caramelised onions
Roasted paneer
Fresh cream - 1 cup
Capsicum - 3 chopped
Oil - 1 tsp
Home made biryani masala - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1 chopped
Reserved rice water - 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp

Saffron milk - 1- 2 tbsp
Lemon slices
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
