Blueberry Tart | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This sinful tart made with fresh blueberries is yummy and sinful. Indulge on !

BLUEBERRY TART - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

2 cups fresh blueberries
Short crust pastry as required
1 cup sour cream
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
2 tablespoons refined flour
¼ teaspoon salt

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180ºC.
2. Spread the short crust in a rectangle tart mould, discard the excess dough and dork the crust. Place a butter paper on it, fill with beans and blind bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
3. Whisk together sour cream, sugar, egg, vanilla essence, flour and salt in a bowl till smooth.
4. Remove the baked tart shell from oven and discard the butter paper and beans. Put it on a baking tray and fill with the prepared sour cream-blueberry mixture.
5. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
6. Serve.
