In a pot add bong, paye, onion, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, bay leaves, black peppercorns, jailfal powder, javitri powder, salt, turmeric powder and water and cover it. Cook it for 7-8 hours on low flame or until fully done. Then separate bong paaye and stock. Reserve them for later use.Directions for Bong Paye Preparation:2. In a pot heat oil and add onion paste. Cook for a minute. add ginger garlic paste and mix it well.3. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook for 2-3 mins.4. Add yogurt and cook until oil separates.
