Let's make this very simple chutney which is made with bottle gourd peel.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg (500gm) fresh bottle gourd (Lauki)
- 1 tbsp oil (Tel)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/4 tsp asafetida (Hing)
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 10 to 12 peanuts (mungfali)
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves (lehsun)
- 3 green chillies (hari mirch)
- Lemon size tamarind (Imli)
- Salt as per taste and water as required

For Tadka
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds (sarso )
- 2 dry red chillies (sukhi lal mirch)
- 2-3 curry leaves (curry patte)
