Crispy bread pakodas topped with chaat condiments and served!BREAD PAKODA CHAATIngredients 6 bread slices1½ cups gram flourSalt to taste¼ tsp red chilli powder + to sprinkle¼ tsp turmeric powder2 green chillies, chopped¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)A pinch of baking soda1 medium onion, chopped + for garnish2 tbsps chopped fresh corianderOil for deep fryingSweetened yogurt to drizzleDate and tamarind chutney to drizzleGreen chutney to drizzleCumin powder to sprinkleChaat masala to sprinkleFresh pomegranate pearls as requiredMasala peanuts as requiredNylon sev as requiredChopped fresh coriander for garnishMethod1. Take gram flour in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, carom seeds, baking soda and onion.2. Add ¾ cup water and mix well. Add coriander and mix well.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip bread slices in the prepared batter and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.4. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside. Cut into small pieces and transfer in serving plate.5. Drizzle sweetened yogurt, date and tamarind chutney and green chutney on top. Sprinkle remaining onion, red chilli powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, pomegranate pearls, masala peanuts and nylon sev on top. 6.
