Breaded Chicken | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Marinated chicken strips coated with breadcrumbs and baked till perfection.

BREADED CHICKEN

Ingredients

250 grams boneless chicken, cut into strips
¼ cup yogurt
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chicken seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon mustard paste
1-2 fresh thyme sprigs
Fresh breadcrumbs for coating

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180º C. Line a baking tray with an aluminium foil.
2. Combine yogurt, crushed peppercorns, salt, chicken seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and mustard paste in a bowl and mix. Add torn thyme and mix. Add chicken and mix well.
3. Coat each chicken strip with breadcrumbs and place on the lined baking tray.
4. Put the tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
5. Serve hot.
