This dish is a fusion of Indian butter chicken finished in Canadian way to make this delicious poutine.BUTTER CHICKEN POUTINEIngredients450 grams readymade chicken tikka1 tablespoon oil3-4 green cardamoms1 blade mace½ inch cinnamon3-4 tomatoes, pureed1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon garam masala powderSalt to taste½ teaspoon honey½ cup fresh cream + for drizzling ¼ teaspoon crushed dried fenugreek leaves1 tablespoon butter Fried French fries as required 100 grams processed cheese, cut into small cubes Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cardamom, mace, cinnamon and sauté till fragrant.2. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. 3. Add red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.4. Add salt and honey, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes Add cream and mix well.5. Add fenugreek leaves and mix. Add butter and mix well. 6. Remove from heat and strain the gravy into a bowl. 7. Place some French fries in a serving platter. Top with chicken tikka pieces, some more French fries and some more chicken tikka pieces. Pour the prepared gravy, drizzle some cream and add some cheese cubes.
