Grease a chakli press attached with sev attachment with some oil.2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.3. Combine gram flour, salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder in a bowl.4. Melt the butter in a microwave, add to flour mixture alongwith some water and knead into a stiff dough.5. Grease your palms with some oil and fill in the greased chakli press with some prepared dough.6. Press the dough strips out into hot oil and deep-fry on low heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Cool. 7. Serve or store in an airtight container.
