So make them at home with just a few ingredients.CASHEW MACAROONSIngredients1 cup finely chopped cashew nuts + for garnish3 eggs¼ cup powdered sugar1 tsp vanilla essence¼ tsp green cardamom powderMethod1. Preheat the oven a 100ºC.2. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites into individual bowls. 3. Beat the egg whites with an electric beater till it turns foamy. Add powdered sugar in batches and continue to beat till soft peaks are formed.4. Add vanilla essence, green cardamom powder and half of the chopped cashew nuts and gently fold till well combined.5. Add the remaining chopped cashew nuts and gently fold again. Add small portions of the mixture at equidistance onto a lined baking tray.6. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. 7. Bring the tray out of the oven and allow the macaroons to cool completely. 8. Arrange the macaroons on a serving plate. Garnish with chopped cashew nuts and serve.
