Chana dal bread kachoriVery delicious and crispy breakfast which can be made easily and quickly at home with chana dal stuffing in bread slices.Ingredient QuantityOil 1 TbspAsafetida a pinchCumin seeds ½ tspCarom seeds ¼ tspGinger chopped 1 tbspGreen chilli chopped 2-3 Onion 1 choppedChana dal boiled 1 cupRed chilli powder 1 TspCoriander powder 1 TbspGaram masala 1 tspDry mango powder 1 tspSalt to tasteCoriander chopped 2 tbspBread slices 6-8MethodHeat oil in a pan add asafetida, cumin seeds, carom seeds , ginger and sauté for 1 mins.Add green chilli chopped, onion and sauté for 1 minsAdd chana dal and mix well.Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, salt, coriander chopped and mix well. Remove the mixture in a plate and keep aside.Take the bread slices and trim the edges. Preserve the bread sides. Take water in a bowl and dip one slice of bread and squeeze excess water.layer the bread slice over a bowl, and press in the center.Take spoonful of filling and place in the center. Dip another bread slice in water and squeeze excess water.Cover the bowl with this bread slices. Using another empty bowl press the bread slices well. Using a knife remove the bread slices from the bowl, Gently shape the bread to seal the edges.Keep this aside and repeat the procedure for remaining bread slices.
