Your favourite besan ka cheela served in an amazing chaat avatar. Try it for your evening snack and enjoy!
CHEELA CHAAT

Ingredients

2 cups gram flour
¾ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder + for sprinkling
Salt to taste
½ tsp sugar
2 small onion, finely chopped + for sprinkling
1 small tomato, finely chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsps fresh coriander leaves, chopped
½ tsp carom seeds
2 tsps oil + for drizzling
1 small cucumber, cut into small cubes
Red chilli garlic chutney to drizzle
Green chutney to drizzle
Sweetened yogurt to drizzle
Date and tamarind chutney to drizzle
Black salt to sprinkle
Roasted cumin powder to sprinkle
Chaat masala to sprinkle
Nylon sev to sprinkle
Freshly chopped coriander for garnish

Method

1. Take gram flour in a bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, sugar and ½ cup water, mix well.
2. Add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander, ajwain and mix again.
3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, pour the cheela mixture, cover and cook for a minute. Flip and cook the other side as well. Set aside.
4. Cut the cheela in small pieces. Arrange it on the plate, sprinkle some onions, cucumber, red chilli garlic chutney, green chutney, yogurt, date and tamarind chutney, black salt, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, place a few more cheela pieces on top, some yogurt, red chlli powder, chaat masala, sev and chopped coriander.
5. Serve immediately.
