Cheeni Parantha is the perfect option when you are looking for a quick but a wholesome recipe.CHEENI PARANTHAIngredients¾ cup sugar½ tsp green cardamom powderA pinch of nutmeg powderA pinch of saffronA pinch of saltReady-made dough made using 1½ cups whole wheat flour4 tbsps white butter + to serveWhole wheat flour for dustingGhee for applying Method1. In a large bowl, add sugar, green cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, crush and add saffron. Mix well. Add a pinch of salt, mix and set aside.2. Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a small disc, apply a little white and sprinkle a generous portion of the prepared sugar mixture and bring the edges in the middle and seal. Slightly flatten.3. Dust the worktop with a little flour and roll the prepared dough into a parantha.4. Heat a non-stick tawa, place the parantha on it and cook on both sides till done. Apply ghee on each and cook till golden brown. Take it off the heat.5.
