Cheese stuffed burger is the traditional American delight made even tastier and delicious by adding cheese!CHEESE STUFFED BURGERIngredients¼ cup grated mozzarella cheese2 tablespoons feta cheese 4 burger buns, horizontally halved250 grams chicken thigh mince1 medium onion, chopped 4-5 garlic cloves 3-4 tablespoons dried breadcrumbs 1 egg Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt to taste 1 tablespoon oil 1 medium onion, cut into roundels Butter as required1-2 fresh rosemary sprigs 1 teaspoon sugar 1-2 tablespoons red wine Oil for shallow-frying ½ cup cornflakes1 egg, beaten1 medium tomatoFew iceberg lettuce leaves Mayonnaise for drizzling Mustard sauce for drizzlingTomato ketchup for drizzling 4 cheese slice Method1. Combine chicken mince, chopped onion, garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs in a grinder jar.2. Beat an egg in a bowl, add to chicken mixture alongwith crushed peppercorns and salt and grind into a smooth mixture. Transfer in a bowl. 3. To prepare caramelized onions, heat 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick pan. Add separated onion roundels and sauté till golden brown. 4. Chop rosemary sprigs, add to chicken mixture and mix well. 5. Mix together mozzarella cheese and feta cheese in a bowl. Add crushed peppercorns and mix well. 6. Grease the inside of a large cookie cutter with some butter and place on a plate.7. To prepare one pattie, put a small portion of chicken mixture inside the greased cookie cutter. 8. Divide the cheese mixture into equal portions and shape into tikki. 9. Place a cheese tikki inside the prepared cookie cutter, cover with another small portion of chicken mixture and demould.10. Add sugar to sautéed onion and mix. Add red wine, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes. 11. Heat some oil in another non-stick pan. 12. Coarsely crush cornflakes on a plate. Add remaining dried breadcrumbs and mix. Add salt and mix well. 13. Brush some beaten egg over the patties and coat with cornflakes mixture. 14. Put the patties in hot oil and shallow-fry from both sides till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 15. Heat another non-stick pan. 16. Apply some butter on both sides of each bun halves, place on hot pan and toast from both sides till light golden brown. 17. Cut tomato into roundels. 18. To prepare one burger, drizzle some mayonnaise on the toasted base bun half. Place torn 1-2 iceberg lettuce leaves, one pattie, 2 tomato roundels, drizzle some mayonnaise, mustard sauce and tomato ketchup. Put some caramelized onions and one cheese slice on top. Drizzle some mayonnaise on the downside on toasted top bun half and place on top of prepared bun half with mayonnaise side downwards. 19. Serve hot.
