Chef Blake Luecke visits The Chef's Garden

Uchi Austin Chef Blake Luecke has traded his chefs coat for a green bucket slung around his hips with a length of orange rope. Instead of cooking with snow peas, the accomplished chef is harvesting them at The Chef's Garden.

Thanks to his restaurants stage program, ambitious chefs like Blake get Uchis blessing to travel and expand their culinary knowledge and experience. He spent a week on the farm, splitting his time between learning the ins-and-outs of vegetable production and learning new culinary techniques at the Culinary Vegetable Institute.
