Chicken Bhuna Masala | How To Make Chicken Curry Restaurant Style | Indian Mom's Kitchen

As a Cookery teacher, I would like to mention that Chicken Bhuna Masala is one of the best among all Chicken Curries in flavour and taste. This Chicken Curry is so delicious that at any party there is hardly any need to clean the serving dish in which Chicken Bhuna Masala is served. This Chicken Curry goes well with Rotis, Parathas, Naans and also Rice. Given below is the Chicken Bhuna Masala recipe.

Ingredients:
750 gms Chicken
1 inch Ginger
2 Cinnamon sticks
2 Cloves
1/2 tsp Fennel
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 Black Cardamom
1/3 cup Oil
3 chopped Tomatoes
3 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
3 Green Chillies
7-8 Garlic pods
3 Green Cardamom pods
5 chopped Onions
21/2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
11/2 tsp Garam masala
1 cup Curd
Few Pudina (Mint) leaves
Few Coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Method:
-- Crush together Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel, Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Pepper, Ginger, Garlic and Green Chillies.
-- Heat Oil in a pan and add the crushed Spice mix.
-- Put in Onions and Salt and cook till Onions turn brown.
-- Add Tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
-- Add Chicken pieces and saute for 5 minutes.
-- Add Kashmiri Chilli powder and Coriander powder and saute well.
-- In a cup of Curd mix in chopped Coriander leaves, Pudina leaves and Kasuri methi.
-- Add the Curd mix to the Chicken and saute.
-- Add Garam masala and saute.
-- Cover and cook on low flame till Chicken is done.
-- Garnish with Coriander leaves.
-- Chicken Bhuna Masala is ready to serve.
-- Enjoy it with Rotis, Parathas, Naans and Rice.
