Chef Suresh Kanna shows you the full aromas of Sri Lanka in this chicken BiryaniSRILANKAN CHICKEN BIRYANITake a bowl add 500 grams of chickenAdd srilankan curry powder(coriander seeds,cloves,cardamom,cinnamon stickCurry leaves, pepper,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds)Add some salt Add 1tb spn of coconut oilAdd ½ cup of coconut milkAdd 1 tsp of red chilli flakesAdd 1 tsp of lime juiceAdd ½ tsp of turmeric powderAdd 2 sprigs of curry leaves and mix it wellIn a pan add 2 tb spn of coconut oilAdd whole garam masalaAdd 1 tsp of pepperAdd 2 sprigs of curry leavesAdd 1 tsp of chopped ginger & garlicAdd 4 green chilliesAdd 2 pieces of lemongrassAdd ½ cup of sliced onionsAdd ½ tsp of turmeric powderAdd 1tsp of red chilli flakesAdd 1 tsp of coriander powderAdd ½ cup of sliced tomatoesAdd marinated chickenAdd srilankan curry powderAdd some coconut milkAdd 1 tsp of cashew nut pasteAdd 1 tsp of lime juice and mix itIn another pan add waterAdd some salt add 2 pieces of lemon grassAdd 2 cup of basmati rice and cinnamonAnd cook it.Then transfer this rice in to a panAdd some brown onionsAdd fried carrot pieces, curry leavesRaisins, cashew nuts, Add boiled rice and coriander leavesAnd cook for some time.Take a pan add 1 teaspoon of coconut oilAdd a pinch of turmeric powderThen put this oil in to the rice Now add1 tsp of ghee and put on lid Cook it for some time.In the same oil add egg, some salt, pepper powderChopped curry leaves and cook itNow serve the biryani with fried egg.#srilankarecipes #sureshkanna #srilankacuisine #vahchef
