Chicken Frankie Rolls
Ingredients for Chicken Mixture Preparation:
Chicken boneless (strips) 750 g
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Paprika powder 1 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 2 tsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Oil 4 tbsp
Oil (for cooking) 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Ketchup 1/4 cup
Tomatoes (julienne) 1/2 cup
Onion rings 1/2 cup
Mint leaves 1/4 cup

Ingredients for Roti:
All-purpose flour 5 cups
Salt 2 tsp
Water as required
Oil 1/4 cup

Ingredients for Mayo Tamarind sauce:
Tamarind pulp 1 cup
Brown sugar 1 cup
White sugar 1 cup
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt 1 pinch
Butter 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Mayonnaise 1 cup

Ingredients for Assembling:
Beaten eggs 2
Butter 1 tsp
Prepared roti
Cooked chicken as required
Tomatoes (julienne) as required
Onion (sliced) as required
Cucumber (julienne) as required
Mayo tamarind sauce as required
Tamarind sauce as required
Lettuce leaves as required


Directions for Chicken Mixture Preparation:
1. In a bowl add chicken, red chili powder, cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, soy sauce, chili sauce, oil and mix well. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. In a pan heat oil and add marinated chicken cook until changes color.
3. Add ketchup and lemon juice and cook until the chicken gets tender.
4. Add tomatoes, onion and cook for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
Directions for Dough Preparation:
5. In a bowl add flour, water, oil, and salt. Knead a soft dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
6. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll them out into a flat circle and cook them on the preheated pan until fully cooked. Set aside.
Directions for Mayo Tamarind Sauce Preparation:
7. In a blender add tamarind pulp, brown sugar, white sugar, red chili flakes, salt, butter, oil and blend well into a smooth paste.
8. Transfer 1 cup tamarind sauce into a bowl, add mayonnaise and mix well.
9. Your mayo tamarind sauce is ready. Reserve remaining tamarind sauce for later use.
Directions for Assembling:
10. On a pan heat butter and add beaten eggs. Cook from one side for 1-2 minutes. Place the prepared roti on top, cook until the egg has fully cooked.
11. Place the prepared roti on board, add cooked chicken on it, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, tamarind sauce, mayo tamarind sauce, lettuce leaves and roll it to form a roll shape.
12. Your Chicken Frankie rolls are ready to serve.
