CHICKEN KHADA MASALA | LUCKNOWI CHICKEN | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Chicken Khada Masala is full of flavour as whole spices are used to make this dish. Also, no water is used in cooking this chicken masala but the cooking is done in the juices of the ingredients added to this dish. So you can imagine how flavourful and full of aroma is this Chicken Khada masala or Lucknowi Chicken which can be enjoyed with any type of bread. So let's head straight into the kitchen and start making this Chicken Khada Masala recipe.
Ingredients in the order of instructions:
2 Bay leaves/Tej Patta
1 Black Cardamom/Badi Elaichi
Cinnamon sticks/Dalchini
2 tsp Fennel/Saunf
4 Cardamoms/Elaichi
4 Cloves/Laung
1 Star Anise/Chakr Phool
1/2 tsp Black Pepper/Kali Mirch
1 tsp Cumin/Jeera
1/2 tsp Stone Flower/Pathar Phool
5 Onions
2 Tomatoes
7 Green Chillies/Hari Mirch
6 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
500 gms Chicken pieces
3 Potatoes
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Turmeric/Haldi powder
1 tbsp Melon/Magaz seeds
2 tbsp desiccated Coconut
2 tbsp White Sesame/Til
2 tsp Khus Khus
4 dry Red Chillies
1/2 cup Curd/Dahi
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 cup chopped Coriander leaves
