Chicken lollipops coated with spicy marination, deep fried to make this interesting Indo-chinese starter for the chicken lovers.

CHICKEN LOLLIPOP

Ingredients

12-16 chicken lollipops
1 tablespoon garlic paste
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 tablespoons red chilli paste
Oil for deep-frying
3 tablespoons cornflour
3 tablespoons refined flour (maida)
1 egg

Method

1. Put chicken lollipops in a bowl. Add garlic paste, salt, pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar and red chilli paste and mix well. Refrigerate to marinate for 1 hour.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
3. Add cornflour, refined flour and egg to marinated chicken lollipops and mix well.
4. Put the marinated chicken lollipops in hot oil and deep-fry till dark golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with Schezwan sauce.
