Chicken kheema5 onions, finely chopped1 tbsp. each Ginger and garlic paste1 tbsp. Garam masala2 tbsp. Chilli powder1 tsp. Turmeric powder3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped5 tbsp. OilSalt to tasteFor the Spiced Gravy (कट/रस्सा):-2 onions, finely chopped2 tbsp. Oil1 tbsp. each Ginger and garlic paste2 medium potatoes boiled, peeled and chopped1 tbsp. Chilli powder3 tbsp. Malwani garam masala½ tsp. Turmeric powderSalt to tasteTo serve:-1 cup Farsan2 medium onions finely chopped¼ cup finely chopped fresh coriander4 buns (पाव)Lemon wedgesMethod:-- Heat oil and add the onions and sauté them till they turn translucent.- Add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté well.- Add turmeric, chilli powder and mix well.- Add tomatoes and sauté until the oil starts to release.- Add the chicken kheema and mix well. Add garam masala, salt and mix. Cover and cook till the minced chicken has cooked properly.- For the Spiced Gravy (कट/रस्सा), heat the oil and sauté the onions till they turn translucent. Add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté again.- Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, potatoes and mix well.- Add 1 litre of water, salt and bring all to a boil.- To serve, In a bowl add the minced chicken and then top it up with the Spiced Gravy and then add 3 tbsp farsan, onion and coriander and then serve along with a lemon wedge and buns (पाव).Hot & Spicy Chicken Misal is ready!
