Its a traditional dish of Muslims of Indian subcontinent & a national dish of Pakistan. Nihari is famous for its fiery taste & texture.Ingredients:-For Nehari:Yogurt 1 cupOil 3/4 cupMaida 3 tbspChicken 1 kg'Cardamom 2 piecesGinger garlic paste 2 tbspSaltRed chili powder 1 tspFor Nehari Masala:Coriander seeds 1tspFennel seeds 1tspRoasted chickpeas 3tbspGaram masala 2 tbspFor Garnish:Chopped green chiliSliced gingerLemonChopped coriander leavesRecipe:In a grinder, grind chickpeas, coriander seeds, fennel seeds & garam masala.In a bowl, stir yogurt & maida well & set aside.Heat oil with cardamom n ginger-garlic pastes in a pan.As ginger-garlic turns like light yellow add chicken and red chili and cook it well.Add yogurt mixture in chicken and stir it.When chicken is cooked, the oil comes out, take this oil out in other bowl and set aside.Pour 1/5 ltr water, salt, nihari masala & mix it.Cover the lid and cook it for few minutes.Garnish it with green chilies, coriander leaves and add the oil which was taken out in a bowl.Serve with lemon and pinch of Chaat Masala.#ChickenNihariRecipe,
