Deep fried chicken pieces tossed in sweet soy sauce.CHICKEN SWEET SOY SAUCEIngredients1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon honey1 tablespoon soy sauce4 boneless chicken breastsOil for deep-frying2 tablespoons chopped garlic1 teaspoon chopped green chilliesSalt to taste3 tablespoon cornstarch½ cup chicken stock1 tablespoon sesame oil½ teaspoon chopped ginger1 teaspoon red chilli flakes1 tablespoon chopped spring onion greens + for garnishing1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds + for garnishingMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. 2. Cut chicken into medium cubes and transfer in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, green chillies, salt and 2 tablespoons cornstarch and mix well. Add some chicken stock and mix well.3. Deep-fry chicken in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain in absorbent paper.4. To prepare sauce, heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and sauté for 30 seconds. Add remaining garlic and sauté for a minute. Add remaining chicken stock, chilli flakes, brown sugar, soy sauce and honey and mix well.5. Dissolve remaining cornstarch in some water to make a smooth slurry. Add to the sauce and mix well. Add salt and mix again.6. Add fried chicken and mix well. Add spring onion greens and sesame seeds and toss to mix.7.
