A nice little twist to the regular pulao.CHICKEN TIKKA TAWA PULAO - (Serves - 4)Ingredients250 grams readymade chicken tikka3 cups cooked rice2-3 tablespoons oil1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 medium onion, finely chopped1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste¼ cup tomato puree1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli paste1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala½ medium green capsicum, chopped2-3 tablespoons green peas1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leavesSalt to tasteMethod1. Roughly chop chicken tikka and transfer in a bowl.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and onion and sauté till onion turns golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 30 seconds.3. Add tomato puree and red chilli paste, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.4. Add pav bhaji masala, capsicum, green peas, coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Add 3-4 tablespoons water, mix and cook for 1 minute.5. Add rice and mix well.
