Yaowarat or Chinatown is a MUST visit in Bangkok. There is so much Thai street food to discover and the atmosphere in this part of Bangkok is electric.

We take you on a Chinatown Bangkok street food tour and talk about some of the street foods you should seek out when you're here:

1. Oyster omelette from Nai Mong Hoy Tod;
2. Filled buns;
3. Guay jub or pork offal soup with rolled noodles
4. Chinese/Thai desserts: ginger soup with black sesame dumplings and water chestnut and coconut milk.
5. Durian!!!

If you're keen on sampling durian, the season in Thailand is in June and August.

Yaowarat street food is definitely worth sampling when you're in Bangkok. Make sure you visit in the evening as the night time vendors start setting up at around 5:00pm.
