Chocolate Hazelnut Bars | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A chocolate ganache mixed with hazelnuts and refrigerated to set, cut into bars and served.

CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT BARS

Ingredients

¼ cup chocolate hazelnut spread
1 cup fresh cream
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup crushed crackers biscuits
¼ cup crushed hazelnuts + for sprinkling

Method

1. To prepare ganache, heat cream in a non-stick pan and bring to boil.
2. Take chocolate in a bowl. Add hot cream and mix till chocolate melts. Add butter and mix well.
3. Add crushed cracker biscuits and hazelnuts to ganache and mix.
4. Line a barfi tray with a cling film, transfer the chocolate-hazelnut mixture, level it out and tap. Refrigerate for 20-25 minutes.
5. Demould, spread chocolate hazelnut spread and sprinkle remaining hazelnut on top.
6. Cut into squares and serve.
