Flattened bread slices stuffed with chocolate spread and strawberries rolled up dipped into egg batter and deep fried.CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY ROLL UPSIngredients8 white bread slices7-8 strawberriesChocolate-hazelnut sauce for spreading2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla essence¼ cup milkCastor sugar for coating ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder1 tablespoon butterMaple syrup for drizzlingMethod1. Hull and cut strawberries into small pieces.2. Trim off edges of bread slices and roll them using a rolling pin. 3. Spread some chocolate-hazelnut sauce on one side of each slice. Put some chopped strawberries on the sauce and roll. 4. Break eggs in a bowl. Add vanilla essence and whisk. Add milk and whisk well. 5. Spread some castor sugar on a plate. Add cinnamon powder and mix well.6. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. 7. Dip each bread roll in the egg mixture, place on hot pan and cook from all sides till golden. Coat with sugar-cinnamon mixture. 8. Transfer on a serving platter and drizzle some maple syrup on top.
