This street food tour in Colombia ended up not being how I expected... Other than the scary experience we had in Bogot we loved everything about Colombia. The fresh flavours, rich history and friendly people drown out any negativity we felt during our stay in Colombia. In this episode we visited the Perseverance Market in La Perseverancia, a working-class neighbourhood situated on the steep slops of Bogot. Colombia goes hard on the soup game and at the market we tasted 2 : the coconut milk based soup/aphrodisiac : "the mattress breaker" as well as a hearty 3 meat monster of a stew. After a quick stop at the Botero Museum we experimented with Colombian coffee before things took a turn for the worse._____________________I'm Luke Martin, food lover and world traveller!
