Crab Parcels | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Phyllo pastry stuffed with cream cheese and crab mixture, baked and served.

CRAB PARCELS - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

2 crab sticks, finely copped
8 wonton sheets
½ cup cream cheese
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1-2 fresh thyme sprigs

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with silicon mat.
2. Take cream cheese in a bowl and mix to get a creamy texture. Add crab sticks and mix well.
3. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, garlic and torn thyme sprigs and mix well.
4. Cut wontons sheets in 2½ inch squares.
5. Put some crab stick mixture in the center of each wonton piece, brush some water on the edges of the piece and bring all the edges in the center and press to seal.
6. Place the prepared wontons on the lined baking tray. Put the tray into preheated oven and bake for 5-10 minutes
7. Serve hot.
